AeroPress vs French Press

AeroPress vs French press – Which One Is Better?

AeroPress and French press are somewhat similar coffee brewing methods, but they are very different when it comes to taste, aroma, smoothness and convenience. While there is no definite winner between the two, coffee aficionados tend to prefer AeroPress. The French press though, has not lost much of its popularity, remaining one of the most popular brewing methods.

Taste wise, if you like your joe with more bite, on the bittery side, French press is for you. If you like a smoother cup, and clean, with a guarantee of no grits and silt, AeroPress is for you.

You can read a full comparison and review of the two brewing methods on our page here: AeroPress vs French press.

We have a few reviews of brewing devices on our site. We couldn't pass the opportunity to share our insights about them in a review of the AeroPress, and a French press review.

I personally like the AeroPress a little more than the French pot. However, I have my days when I'd rather drink a French press coffee.

Coffee aficionados love to have perfect control over the brewing process, and this is why manual brewing is more and more popular.

Regular French Press vs Espro French Coffee Press
